Breakfast is served in the drawing room where a log fire burns on dewy early mornings and the view from the window stretches from Hartland Point to Lundy Island over the little white town of Bideford. Food is freshly prepared using home produced and locally sourced ingredients: fruit from the garden home made yoghurt and prize-winning local meats. Please tell us if you follow a special diet. We can help you organise cycling on the Tarka Trail cliff walking surfing canoeing and other water sports. There is a different beach for each day of your holiday within easy reach; Dartmoor and Exmoor to explore gardens at RHS Rosemoor and Tapeley as well as the fishing villages of Clovelly and Appledore. Whether you choose a traditional pub like our local Westleigh Inn or speciality seafood at Instow - eating in North Devon is reassuringly inexpensive.
